The Ice Factory is an Olympic class ice skating center located in the heart of Central Florida close to the Disney Theme Parks as well as Universal Studios Orlando.
The Ice Factory amenities include:
- NHL Regulation Ice Sheet - 200 ft by 85 ft
- Studio Ice Sheet - 85 ft by 45 feet
- 750 seat stadium seating style bleachers
- Large welcoming lobby
- Full Service Snack Bar
- Rink Side Bar & Lounge - serving your favorite domestic and import beers and fine wines
- 4 spacious locker rooms
- 1 Female locker room
- 1 Refree Locker room
All locker rooms have their own bathroom and shower stalls for each locker room. - 1 Large party room
History of the Ice Factory
The Ice Factory opened in 1998 to a high profile grand opening including an apperance and welcome to all guest by Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton. Following augotraphs, Scott performed as the Master of Ceremonies for the School of Performance's (a program hosted at the Ice Factory to produce broadway style shows with the local skating children) first grand production. They then hosted an open skating session with local radio personality Kid Cruze of XL 106.7 live on the radio!
Since then the Ice Factory has expanded and developed some of Central Florida's finest skaters and hockey players.
The mission of the Ice Factory is to offer a first quality ice skating facility to teach the local community about the benifits of recreational fun fitness in a clean and inviting enviroment.
