Public Session & Weekend Supervisor

Weekends at our rink are electric — packed with families, music, lights, and the kind of good vibes you can feel through your skates. We’re looking for someone who can own the experience — leading the team, pumping up the energy, and making sure every guest walks out saying, “That was awesome.”

What You’ll Do:

  • Run the show during public skating sessions — music, lights, staff, energy, flow

  • Lead a diverse team of 5–20: skate guards, party hosts, guest services, cafe crew, and more

  • Keep the rink safe, clean, and full of smiles

  • Coach and mentor staff (many of them newer to the workforce)

  • Oversee off-ice areas for weekend events: hockey games, clinics, parties

  • Jump in where needed — even occasionally drive the Zamboni (yes, we’ll train you!)

Who You Are:

  • A natural coach and mentor — you care about developing people

  • A leader who’s calm under pressure and quick on their feet

  • Experienced in high-paced customer service or team leadership

  • CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to get certified within 30 days)

  • Obsessed with guest satisfaction, clean facilities, and smooth operations

  • Comfortable leading with confidence, compassion, and clarity

  • All about fun with purpose — because work should be enjoyable AND excellent

Who This Is Not For:

  • You prefer to manage from a distance

  • You don’t enjoy working with or coaching young staff

  • You’re uncomfortable jumping into new or messy situations

  • You avoid cleaning or hands-on help

  • You’re often late or need reminders to finish tasks
